With Gladness For Ya'acob, And Shout Among The Chief Of The Nations. Cry

The Story of
the Jerusalem Rivers Picture
In 1982, Ron &
Jean Amodea were new believers, just coming into the knowledge of bible
truths.
Ron's talent and career as a musician seemed destined to be the work that
YHWH would have him perform for the bodyof believers. The couple started
a band and performed gospel music. They prayed for a
focus and mission for their work and
were given prophetic utterance that they would be known as
"Jerusalem Rivers." Jean also had a vision of a Temple with water
flowing from under a type of Temple . The vision showed that the
flowing waters were in various depths and went toward the east. She also saw
foliage and trees surrounding the sides of the river of water. Excited to
have had such an unusual experience, she relayed the details of the
vision to a fellow congregant and artist, Renaldo Epworth. Epworth felt led to
paint an oil painting of the vision, carefully interpreting the details of the
vision.
At that
time, as new believers, Ron & Jean did not understand the
depiction in the picture. They knew that
there were no rivers in Jerusalem. They were puzzled
by the name and vision, but felt impressed to begin to study all they could
about Jerusalem, Israel and the
Hebraic roots of their faith. In the process they also
studied and explored traditional Israeli music.
As they began a
search of the scripture and more in depth bible study, they discovered that the Nevi'im (prophets)
wrote of a Temple where rivers of living waters would flow eastward
from under the threshold! They were amazed with wonder and awe
to discover verses that specifically confirmed and explained the
picture given in the vision! Please take the time to read the
wonderful scripture verses below that Ron & Jean were shown by the Ruach Ha
Kodesh (Holy Spirit) and refresh yourself as you drink of the living waters
of Ha Emet (the truth)!
Truly YHWH was guiding them in the path they
should take in order to use their talents for His glory and to edify
believers. Through the experience, YHWH also put within them a heart of
love for their Jewish brothers and sisters.

"And in that day it shall be that
living waters flow from Yahrushalayim. half of them toward the eastern sea and
half of them toward the western sea, in summer a swell as in winter."
~Zekaryah (Zech.) 14:8
"And it shall be in that day that the
mountains drip with new wine, and the hills flow with milk. And all the streams
of Yehudah shall be flooded with water, and a fountain from the House of YHWH
and water the wadi Shittim."
~ Yo’el (Joel) 3:18
"And He showed me a river of water of
life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and
of the Lamb. In the middle of the street, and on either side of the river, was
the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every
month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
~ Rev. 22:1-2
" And He turned me back to the door
of the House. And look, water was flowing from under the threshold of the House
toward the east, for he house faced east, and the water was flowing from under
the right side of the house, from the south of the altar. And He led me out by
way of the north gate, and took me round on the outside to the outer gate facing
east. And look, water trickling out on the right side. As the man went out of
the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he made
me pass over into water, water to the ankles. And He measured one thousand and
he made me pass over into water, water to the knees. And he measured one
thousand, and he made me pass over, water to the loins. And he measured one
thousand, a stream that I was unable to pass over, for the water had risen,
water to swim, a stream that is not passed over. And he said to me, "Son of man,
have you seen this?" And he led me and brought me back to the
bank of the stream. When I returned, then look, along the bank of the stream
were very many trees on one side and the other. And he said to me, "These waters
are flowing toward the eastern country, and go down into the Arabah, and enter
the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters shall be healed. And it
shall be that every swarming creature, wherever the stream goes, shall live. And
there shall be very many fish, for these waters shall go there, and they are
healed. And wherever the stream flows all shall live ... And by the bank of the
stream on both sides, grow all kinds of trees used for food, whose leaves do not
wither and fruit do not fail, They bear fruit every month, because their water
flows from the set-apart place. And their fruit shall be for food, and their
leaves for healing."
